| What
is a Toxoid ?
There are a lot of Toxic elements (called toxins) On our planet - from
the relatively harmless such as TV and junk-food, right through to nuclear
waste and hard drugs which can in some cases be deadly.
None of us are perfect otherwise we'd probably be living on a
hill in Tibet (apologies to the dalai lama !); most of us watch too much TV,
many of us have smoked or dropped tabs (even Bill Clinton and George
Bush !) and a few of us get into really heavy addictions like violence and
hard drugs.
But did you know that most toxins stimulate the production of
neutralising substances, called anti-toxins, in the body ?
To be Atoxic is to do just that - act as an anti-toxin in our
society to help neutralise and even heal the toxic influences.
In fact the chemists have invented something called a TOXOID - a
toxin that has been treated to reduce it's toxicity and is used in
immunisation to stimulate production of anti-toxins.
That's why Toxoid Girl fights on our side - against the toxins !!
